Adding Human Figures to a Landscape or Cityscape

Adding Human Figures to a Landscape or Cityscape with Helen Hanley will take the place of the Watercolor Landscapes which had to be cancelled. Helen will be teaching this 4-week series beginning this Thursday, Aug. 17, 10am – 1pm;  $10 per class for members, $15 per class for guests.

August 17, 24, 31, and Sept. 7 – 10 am-1 pm

Small human figures in paintings indicate there is movement and life, as opposed to a static composition.  It is frightening to think about adding them, and these classes will be designed to help you, and me, overcome that fear.

Bring your basic art supplies and, if you have any, some old landscapes and/or cityscapes on which you can practice.  The first class will focus on proportions.

Please contact Helen directly at helen@westpascoartguild.org to register.
