The Florida Loquat Festival is an annual agrarian event in New Port Richey, Florida, which promotes food sovereignty and celebrates this unique place in the world, its food system, and the people who have made a commitment to both. This event celebrates Florida’s Urban Fruit, the Loquat.
Ecology Florida is seeking artists and visual art to be exhibited at the 7th Annual Loquat Festival, March 21st, 2020 from 9am-2pm at Frances Avenue Park- 5580 Frances Ave. New Port Richey, Florida 34653.
Artwork will be selected based on embracing loquats or urban ecology as central to the imagery, inspiration or theme. Awards will be given based on creativity, approach, impact, and ingenuity. Submit application, signed release, three images of artwork and picture of booth set-up to: firstname.lastname@example.org by March 8th.
