Stacey has been an IT and marketing professional, corporate software trainer, and graphic artist for more than 30 years. She started her career in AV and print media in the Communications department of KPMG in NYC. Selleck taught advanced level Microsoft Office, graphic design, and web development at USF’s educational outreach center and St. Pete College. She earned a liberal arts degree from Rutgers University.
A self-employed contractor and Digital Director for U.S. Term Limits, Stacey enrolled WPAG into the non-profit programs which allow discounts on accounting software and free use of Google suite, making important data and files easily accessible to the Board. As current WPAG Communication Chair, Selleck added email sign-up and online payment functionality to the web site. She also started the Guild’s first ever youtube channel recording all of Joye Moon’s watercolor workshop. In addition, Stacey sends out press releases, produces the bimonthly print newsletter, designs WPAG marketing materials, writes articles for the web site and emails the membership weekly so we are all kept up-to-date on events and announcements. Her social media skills have helped bring in new members, increase enrollment, and tripled the Guild’s facebook likes in three months.
She has experience as Chair of the Board for a political party affiliate in Pinellas and performed secretary duties often in the absence of the officer. She resides full-time in Pasco county and asks for your vote so she may contribute to the leadership of the Guild for the benefit of all members and the community at large.
I have been drawing, making designs and creating things since I was a child. I always liked to draw. I have learned to do many things, sewing, needlework of all kinds (I never did learn to tat), and wood working. I enjoy gardening which includes food preparation, presentation and decorating with fresh and dried materials. I have always liked to create something new and beautiful so learned a lot of different ways to use different techniques. Like baking, it’s fun, it has to taste good and be pretty.
I have been a member of WPAG for almost 20 years. I have learned a lot here and made many good friends. I am a past president and board member. I have also served as secretary pro tem here many times. I was for many years secretary for CONA (Council of Neighborhood Associations). As a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary I served as secretary for Division 11. I was secretary for the Hudson Flotilla under three commanders. I have served as an officer of many organizations through the years. I know how Robert’s Rules of Order works. I am also a full time resident so am available for board and member meetings.
Further, I have been a member of the art guild for almost 20 years. I am also a past president of the Guild. I am a full-time resident and therefore available for member and board meetings throughout the year.
