I have been drawing, making designs and creating things since I was a child. I always liked to draw. I have learned to do many things, sewing, needlework of all kinds (I never did learn to tat), and wood working. I enjoy gardening which includes food preparation, presentation and decorating with fresh and dried materials. I have always liked to create something new and beautiful so learned a lot of different ways to use different techniques. Like baking, it’s fun, it has to taste good and be pretty.
I have been a member of WPAG for almost 20 years. I have learned a lot here and made many good friends. I am a past president and board member. I have also served as secretary pro tem here many times. I was for many years secretary for CONA (Council of Neighborhood Associations). As a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary I served as secretary for Division 11. I was secretary for the Hudson Flotilla under three commanders. I have served as an officer of many organizations through the years. I know how Robert’s Rules of Order works. I am also a full time resident so am available for board and member meetings.
Further, I have been a member of the art guild for almost 20 years. I am also a past president of the Guild. I am a full-time resident and therefore available for member and board meetings throughout the year.
