Wheel Throwing: Wednesday, 6 pm – 10 pm, March 17 – April 28, 2021
Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned thrower, this class focuses on basic skills as well as a plethora of tips and tricks to take your current skill set to the next level. Come prepared to be challenged, get dirty and have fun! The fee for the 6-week session is $220 members/$240 non-members and includes glazes and firings. Clay and basic tool sets are available, however, clay must be purchased through the guild prior to the first day of class: $27 for a block of clay, tool set for $5. Hand Building: Thursday, 6 pm – 9 pm, March 25 – April 29, 2021
We will create simple forms using the basic techniques of hand building with plenty of time to explore your own creative designs. Surface decoration will be discussed along with oxidation firing methods of various temperatures. Focus will be on technical and aesthetic components of quality craftsmanship, so expect some challenges while you enjoy creating functional and beautiful works of art! The fee for the 6-week session is $180 members/$200 non-members and includes glazes and firing. Basic tool sets are available to purchase, and the guild has plenty of fun “tools” to play with. Clay is available and must be purchased through the guild. Social distancing will be practiced so space is limited! Contact Kathleenat 970-393-0199 for further information and to pick up supplies.
Open Clay on Fridays
Available only to students currently enrolled in a clay class who need to finish up for a deadline or make up a class. In addition, currently enrolled students can schedule practice time on the wheel for $5 per hour. Contact Kathleen at 970-393-0199 for dates, fees, and times.

Refund policy for all clay classes: full refund minus $2 processing fee up to midnight the day of class; 50% minus $2 processing fee after the first class.
