Students will learn the basics of handling watercolors on YUPO, then techniques of removing paint back to white as well as creating the look of fur, feathers,grass, and clouds. We’ll cover how to fix areas and how to avoid making mud. We will use 4 pieces of YUPO, 3 white and 1 translucent. Each painting will have stages that need time to dry so each will need a piece of foam core or other backing board to keep it flat. Bring reference photos of your choice of cats, dogs,birds or flowers.
